PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT - The intention here was to demonstrate Freeform’s effectiveness at facilitating the creation of licensed character likenesses. Mr. Bumpy was the star of the hit animated cartoon series from the late eighties - “BUMP IN THE NIGHT”. I chose Mr Bumpy because from a technical standpoint just like Freeform, he was way ahead of his time.

Fortunately, I was able to begin this project with the advantage of having a Mr Bumpy “action figure” to work from. This was used to generate digital photos and then “control drawings”
Start to finish this project took 15.5 hours.
The “control drawings” were then imported into Freeform and used as a basis from which to generate the shapes that make up Mr Bumpy.
